Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup pineapple sherbet or sorbet
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 ice cubes, optional

Preparation

  1. In a blender, add pineapple sherbet, whey protein powder and water (ice cubes optional).
  2. Immediately blend for 30 to 45 seconds.

Helpful hints

  • Add one or two ice cubes to make smoothie thicker. Add an extra ice cube if you prefer a milkshake consistency or put in the freezer for five minutes before drinking.
  • Ask your dietitian about recommended protein powder brands.
  • If the protein powder sticks to the side of the blender, turn if off and use a spatula to loosen it from the sides. Replace lid and keep blending until smooth.
