Ingredients

  • 10 ounces frozen green beans
  • 4 teaspoons margarine
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 

Preparation

  1. Cook green beans in boiling water until tender. Drain. 
  2. Chop onion and bell pepper.
  3. Place a skillet on medium heat, add margarine and sauté onion, red pepper, dill and parsley until soft. 
  4. Add green beans to skillet and heat until beans are hot. 
  5. Sprinkle with black pepper and serve.

Helpful hints

  • Substitute fresh green beans for frozen when in season.
