Easy Air Fryer Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked medium shrimp
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium Cajun seasoning
  • nonstick cooking spray

Preparation

  1. Rinse shrimp and pat dry with paper towel. Mince garlic clove.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, Cajun seasoning and shrimp.
  3. Mix with rubber spatula until shrimp is coated.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F and spray with nonstick cooking spray, if needed.
  5. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in air fryer and cook for 3-4 minutes Flip shrimp and continue to cook for 2-3 more minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately.

Helpful hints

  • Can be served with salad, with a pasta dish or with roasted vegetables.
  • Can be made with fresh shrimp, just make sure it is cooked all the way through. Cooked and uncooked shrimp shrinks when cooked.
  • Look for cooked shrimp with the lowest salt content.
