Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken
- 1/2 medium white onion
- 3/4 cup celery
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Preparation
- Dice chicken. Finely chop onion and slice celery.
- Combine chicken, onion and celery in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar and sugar.
- Add thoroughly mixed mayonnaise mixture to chicken and stir. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
Helpful hints
- Make sandwiches or serve as a salad on top of mixed greens.
- Use reduced-fat mayonnaise for lower fat, but sodium will be higher: 11 g fat, 210 calories, 256 mg sodium.
- Use vinegar of choice, but if seasoned check sodium content.
